Sublime Nature

I am the water
That slowly
Memories delete

I am the wind
That silently
Pain erode

I am the snow
That inexorably
Sorrow obliviate

The singing of birds
Passionately
Filling these trees

I am the silence in my soul
I am the rock in my hearth
I am the stars above me
And the earth beneath
Entangled in an eternal embrace

For a moment
I am all these things,
Nature sublime
On the edge of the abyss.
